Upload a photo and view its EXIF metadata, camera settings, GPS location, and file details in your browser.

Drop in a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or TIFF photo and this tool reads and displays the metadata embedded inside — EXIF tags, camera make and model, lens settings, capture date, and GPS coordinates when available. A clear file-info panel shows dimensions, megapixels, file size, and format. Everything is parsed locally in the browser, so the photo never leaves the device.

How to use

Upload or drop an image into the tool. The file details and any EXIF metadata are parsed and displayed automatically in three sections: file information, camera and capture settings, and GPS coordinates when present. Use the copy button to copy the full metadata as text.

FAQ

Does my photo get uploaded anywhere?

No. All metadata parsing runs in your browser, so the image stays on your device.

What image formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, HEIC, and BMP. EXIF metadata is read from JPEG, TIFF, WebP, and HEIC when present.

Why does my photo show no EXIF data?

Many messaging apps, social platforms, and image editors strip EXIF metadata on export or upload. Screenshots and most PNGs never contain EXIF.

Can I see GPS coordinates on a map?

Yes. When GPS data is found in the image, a View on map button appears that opens the location on OpenStreetMap in a new tab.
