Information we process

Tool inputs and results stay in your browser and are not sent to our servers. When you visit the site, however, we and our service providers may process technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages viewed and cookie preferences. If you contact us, we process the details and message you provide so that we can respond.

Why we process it

We use this information to operate, secure and improve the site; respond to messages; understand site usage; and display and measure advertising where you consent. Our legal bases may include consent, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, and compliance with legal obligations.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact us using the details above to exercise a right. If you are in the UK and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies

We use cookies (and similar technologies) for:

  • Google Analytics — to understand aggregated site usage and improve the tools.
  • Site functionality — to remember things like favorite tools and values you enter into tools so they can be reloaded when you come back (for example, a countdown timer date/time).

smpl.tools may display Google AdSense adverts. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads according to its own policies and the consent choices available in your region.

To comply with disclosure obligations regarding Google's use of data, please see: How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.

You can control cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect ads, analytics, and some tool convenience features.
