How smpl.tools is made.

smpl.tools publishes original browser-based tools and explanatory copy written for real tasks, not filler pages. Each tool is chosen because it solves a specific job quickly, with local processing wherever practical.

What gets published

A new tool needs a clear use case, distinct functionality, and enough supporting guidance to stand on its own. We avoid near-duplicates and pages that exist only to target keywords.

How results are checked

Calculation logic is tested in code, then reviewed in the browser against representative examples. When a result depends on conventions or reference data, the page notes the assumption instead of overstating certainty.

How content is written

Every tool page includes a plain-language summary, usage guidance, worked examples, and FAQ answers written for that tool. We do not use placeholder copy to pad pages.

Ads and independence

Advertising may appear around content, but ads do not determine tool outputs or rankings. Pages are built to be useful before an advert is shown.
